6 Man Team Event
The England Golf SE Group Men s 6 Man Team event was held at Millbrook GC on Saturday 12th July
Middlesex travelled toThe Millbrook Golf Clubin Bedfordshire for the England Golf SE Group 6 Man Team event. They battled with teams from BB&O, Bedfordshire, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk, Surrey and Sussex. Kent emerged victorious with score of level par, pipping BB&O by one stroke. Our team was represented by County Champion Justin Phelps fromNorthwood GC, Will Orridge fromEnfield GC, Dan Parsons and Niall Keogh fromSudbury GC,Craig O’Shea fromAshford Manor GCand Freddie Tucker fromHighgate GC. The fairways were very dry due to the current drought, which made for difficult scoring for our boys. A special mention to Will Orridge, who, despite injuring his back mid-way round the afternoon round, managed to complete his round to ensure that we registered a score.
