County Boys U16 Team

Our season opening fixture took place at the beautiful East Berkshire Golf Club on Sunday 18th May, 2025.We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by BB O many thanks to them for their hospitality.In our season opener, we faced 2 very strong teams in Essex BB O. With a young but promising squad featuring 3 players making their debuts, it was always going to be a challenging test. The standard of golf from our opponents was very high, but our team showed great spirit and determination throughout. Despite losing both matches, it was encouraging to see several of our games go the distance, right to the 18th hole! A special mention goes to Freddie for securing a full point and to both Finn and Marley for battling hard to earn valuable half points.It was a tough day, and there are certainly valuable lessons to be taken.
