MIDDLESEX WOMEN’S SPRING MEETING

The 2026 Women’s Spring Meetingwas held atSudbury Golf Clubon a gorgeous Spring day. The course was in splendid condition and we had a full field for this ever popular event.
The winnerof the prestigious Laidlay Shield wasGrims Dyke GC, represented by Jo Lassman and Tracy Gorb. The Grims Dyke girls narrowly pippedEnfield’sKathryn Tiddy and Carey Labdon.
The winnerof the Silver Division is Gill Mannion fromPinner Hill GCwith an impressive 35 points. Also on 35 points was Kathryn Tiddy, but lost out on Count-back to Gill. Jo Lassman was third.
Our Bronze Division Championis Nilgun Ayrancioglu fromNorth Middlesex GCwith a stupendous 39 points. Runner up was Marion Hill fromStanmore GCwith an impressive 36 points. Tracy Gorb fromGrims Dyke GCtook 3rd place, also with 36 points but lost out on count-back.
The winnerof the higher handicap Bronze Division is Yoko Williams fromNorth Middlesex GC.
Sudbury presented the course in fabulous condition and Joe and the team were fantastic hosts as ever. What a great start to the season!
